This is the full list of storage shed reviews on Storage Sheds HQ: 34 reviews covering walk-in sheds, low horizontal sheds, deck boxes and storage seats from Lifetime, Suncast, Keter, Rubbermaid, DuraMax, Patiowell and PatioZen. Each table below runs from largest to smallest by footprint or capacity, with the size, the owner rating and the one thing to know before you click through. Where a model has been discontinued, its review says so and covers the closest current replacement.
How we review: each review is based on the manufacturer’s product page, assembly manual and warranty, and on owner ratings and feedback from Amazon and other retailers, checked when the review was last updated. When a rating is shared across sizes or colors, the review says so. More on our process.

Two things to check before you choose on footprint alone. First, the nominal size is not the size of your base: many sheds measure at the roof, and their walls sit a few inches inside that. Each review gives the base or platform size from the manual. Second, every manual we have read asks for a flat, level base, and some warranties depend on it, so budget for a slab or a platform.

Materials and Warranties at a Glance
Almost every shed and box here is resin, the general name for molded plastic. The brands use different plastics: Lifetime and Patiowell use high-density polyethylene (HDPE), Keter lists polypropylene for the Factor and Manor, and Suncast and Rubbermaid describe theirs as multi-wall or double-wall resin. The bigger sheds add steel or metal reinforcement in the walls, roof or trusses. The one exception is the DuraMax DuraMate, which is vinyl over a metal frame. Resin will not rust or rot, but Suncast calls its sheds water resistant, not waterproof. We have not reviewed steel or wood sheds; our plastic vs. wood vs. metal comparison covers the trade-offs.
| Brand | Products | Material | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lifetime | Sheds and the 60012 deck box | Dual-wall HDPE, steel-reinforced | 10-year limited |
| Suncast | BMS sheds | Multi-wall resin, many models metal-reinforced | 10-year limited; needs a proper foundation, anchoring and a padlock |
| Suncast | Deck boxes and storage seats | Resin | 5-year limited |
| Keter | Sheds | Polypropylene or wood-look resin, steel-reinforced | 10-year limited |
| Keter | Rockwood deck box | UV-protected resin | 2-year limited |
| Rubbermaid | 7×7 shed and Extra Large deck box | Double-wall resin | 10-year limited, prorated |
| Rubbermaid | Large Horizontal Storage Shed | Double-wall resin | 1-year limited |
| DuraMax | DuraMate 8×6 | Vinyl (PVC) over a metal frame | 15-year limited |
| Patiowell | Kick-it 8×6 | Blow-molded HDPE | 10-year limited, for orders from Patiowell’s site |
| PatioZen | 100 gallon deck box | Polypropylene resin | None published; 30-day seller returns |
Read the conditions before you buy. Suncast’s shed warranty depends on a level foundation, anchoring and keeping the shed padlocked, and Rubbermaid’s 10-year warranties are prorated; its deck box warranty also excludes storm damage. Each review explains its warranty in full.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best storage shed?
It depends on what you are storing and how much room you have. Our Best Storage Sheds of 2026 page picks seven sheds by situation, and the tables above list every shed we have reviewed by size.
Which storage shed brands do you review?
Lifetime, Suncast, Keter, Rubbermaid, DuraMax and Patiowell sheds, plus deck boxes from Suncast, Keter, Rubbermaid, Lifetime and PatioZen.
How are these reviews put together?
Each review is based on the manufacturer’s product page, assembly manual and warranty, plus owner ratings and feedback from Amazon and other retailers. When a rating is shared across sizes or colors, the review says so.
What size storage shed do I need?
Measure the largest thing you will store, such as a mower, and the space you have, including room for the doors to open. The sizes above are outside dimensions; each review gives the inside size, the door opening and the base size the manual calls for. The Storage Shed Buying Guide covers the rest.
Do plastic storage sheds need a foundation?
Yes. Every manufacturer manual we have read asks for a flat, level base, usually a concrete slab or a wood platform, and some warranties depend on it. Each review gives that shed’s base size and anchoring.
What happens to reviews of discontinued sheds?
We keep them. The review says at the top that the model is discontinued, keeps the specs for owners, and covers the closest current model.
